We’re thrilled to share that we won the 'Creative Use of Substrates' category, with our submission 'Caffeine' a complex PUR bound self-promotional book produced for our friends at Pencil Studio.

About Us

Founded in 1994 by Rik & Peter (aka RiPe) as a reprographics business just outside of the City of Bath in Corsham, we’ve always had a philosophy of only buying the best equipment and software. We invested heavily in Linotype-Hell hardware and Apple Macs until 2004 when we bought our first HP Indigo digital press.

Now on our third HP Indigo press, the 7800, and with a studio full of finishing equipment, we offer incredible quality indigo printing with fast turnaround to any specification you can design.

From printing simple business cards, stickers, flyers and postcards to elaborate brochures and books to Fine Art Giclée prints. We’re particularly fond of challenging design requiring different finishes within one job and utilising new techniques so we can show off what we know.
99% of our finishing is done in-house, giving us complete quality control on all our work.

Rik Penny

DIRECTOR
A mac user of 32 years who will get any job to print. No job too small, no job too challenging. Feel free to test! Lazy e-biker and very average bmx racer.

DIRECTOR
Printer and finisher. Keen cyclist in all weathers, walker for miles and craft beer drinker. Always working on a project / renovation at home.
Clive Humphries

DIRECTOR
Finisher extraordinaire. Gravel bike rider, dog walker and fit as a fiddle. Graduated university with a law degree before deciding wearing a shirt wasn’t for him. His temporary job at Ripe has lasted 30 years so far.

PRE PRESS MANAGER
Cousin to Rik, George has been at Ripe since 1996. Best suited to talk through any job in detail, with expert knowledge of the design and print process from start to finish. Superstar DJ in his spare time.

Nathan Wilkins

PRESS MANAGER
HP Indigo Operator since digital printing was invented - what Nathan doesn’t know about Indigos isn’t worth knowing. Expert in solar power and all things Nintendo. Oh, and supports Arsenal but we don’t hold that against him.
Julie Remington

OFFICE MANAGER
Don’t mess with Ju - she does the invoicing and paying of bills. She also does despatches and organises literally everything so, basically - she gets shit done.
Annie Dodd

FINE ART PRINTING
Annie runs the Giclée side of the business. If you’re after fine art prints, she’s the one to talk to. Her office is handily located next to the kitchen to support her tea habit.
